As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I offer individual therapy for teenagers and adults navigating several areas of life, including managing various mental health struggles, adjusting to life transitions, improving their relationships with themselves and their loved ones, and so much more.
I know from experience in my own life and through working with others that asking for help can be incredibly difficult, especially in a world where we sometimes feel like we are supposed to have it all together. While it can seem overwhelming, I have found over the last several years that allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and search the deepest parts of ourselves, even the parts we typically avoid, can lead to the most empowering and life-altering transformation. When we allow ourselves to be seen and heard, we can begin to accept ourselves and access our full potential, leading to a much more fulfilling life.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia, as well as a license from the Georgia Secretary of State as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I take advantage of continuing to learn and grow in my practice through attending continuing education opportunities regularly.
I have been privileged to serve diverse populations of individuals facing various challenges since I began working one-on-one with clients in 2018. I have several years of experience working with Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Trauma, ADD/ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Grief & Loss, and Self-Harm, as well as many other struggles.
In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and personalized experience. I recognize that true healing in therapy involves walking alongside individuals as they explore and discover, not creating or enforcing my own agenda. Throughout my work, I have had the true honor of witnessing clients recognize their strengths, employ them, and experience lasting change that allows them to THRIVE, not just survive.
